This design concept Web site, developed by the
National Agricultural Library, is
intended to be a starting point for discussions which will more fully shape the future public face of the
National Digital Library of Agriculture (NDLA). Some
functional elements, such as the
ability to search a wide variety of information resources from a single search
box, are not as inclusive as ultimately envisioned, while others are
represented by placeholders. These placeholders, for example some
searching functionality and examples
of “spotlights”, are included to demonstrate capabilities
that could be in a final version. Expressions of interest in helping develop the NDLA as well as comments and suggestions about the design
concept and the NDLA are most welcome.
