Upcoming Open Orientations:

* The DEA New York Field Division is not conducting open orientations at this time, please check the website in the future for any changes.*

In order to proceed in the recruitment process, the DEA New York Division requests that applicants attend a comprehensive Orientation at the DEA, New York Office, 99 10th Avenue, New York, New York 10011 (corner of 10th Avenue and 17th Street, Chelsea area of Manhattan).

Orientations are conducted by Recruiter Special Agent Mark Waller on most Tuesdays at 11 a.m. Attire is casual. Applicants should bring their resume, college transcript with final GPA, valid driver’s license, note paper and a pen. Normally, the orientation is 1 hour. All questions regarding the DEA career, pay, assignments, academy, etc., will be addressed.

Applicants that are turning 36 years of age should know that the processing time prior to hiring is now approximately 9-10 months. Applicants must be hired by their 37th birthday.
