Coastal Zone Definition for Oregon

Oregon's coastal boundary extends from the Washington border on the north to the California border on the south; seaward to the extent of state jurisdiction as recognized in federal law; and inland to the crest of the coastal mountain range, excepting the Umpqua River Basin (where the coastal zone extends to Scottsburg); the Rogue River Basin (where the coastal zone extends to Agness); and the Columbia River Basin (where the coastal zone extends to the downstream end of Puget Island or, as defined by CREST, RM 38.5, to the "Bradwood Site" on the shorelands.
