Derek Hoye

Raised in Santa Cruz, California I developed a humbling respect for the environment. My educational as well as career goals continue to reflect this connection with nature. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of California Santa Barbara earning two BA degrees; one in Business Economics and the second in Law and Society. Currently, I am pursing my JD at Golden Gate University School of Law seeking an Environmental Law Specialization Certificate. After I graduate in May of 2009 I will begin a career with a focus in sustainable business.

Alexandra Leumer

I was born and raised in San Francisco and graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a BA in political science. I retuned to San Francisco to study environmental law at Golden Gate University (GGU) and am currently in my third year. In addition to interning at OEPC, I am a member of the Environmental Law Society at GGU and an assistant editor of the Environmental Law Journal. Upon graduating, I hope to practice in the field of environmental policy.
