Subject:	GPS Global Network Advisory: Rogue Firmware Upgrade Status

There are 28 GPS receivers in the GPS Global Network (GGN) of Rogue SNR-8,
SNR-800, and SNR-8C type which needed the firmware upgrade to Conan 4.2
(Meenix 7.3). So far, 26 of the 28 Rogues have been upgraded (as far as
we know). In the table below follows the software status of the Rogue
sites in the GGN to the best of our knowledge.
Note that the three DSN sites (Goldstone, Madrid, and Tidbinbilla)
did not require the upgrade (since they are using different interface
and storage software). Similarly, the TurboRogues did not require the
firmware upgrade either, which excluded PIE1, QUIN, and HARV from
the table below.

Note also that the Conan data file (STD or CMP formats) does not have the
correct version number for Meenix. It should be version 7.3 and not 7.0.
The on-line commands do, however, show the software status correctly.
If you type 'version' at the FIELD> prompt, then the response should be:

    FIELD> version

    JPL Rogue Meenix:

Please help us confirm or adjust the entries in the table below.
We would like to provide any assistance necessary to assure that
all the Rogues in the GGN have the same firmware.
