Katrina Data
The raw Level-II and Level-III NEXRAD data for Katrina is available from the URLs:

The data may be visualized by using the Java NEXRAD Viewer. These URLs can be cut and pasted into 'Custom' tab in the Java NEXRAD Viewer's Data Selector.
The daily tar archive files may be downloaded from:

The daily files (.tar.Z) are Level-III and the 8 hour files (.tar) are Level-II.

3D animation of Katrina eyewall from KLIX and KMOB Level-II data. Animation created in ESRI ArcScene. The surface is a flat polygon representation of the lowest cut from KLIX (.44 deg). The points represent the centroids of the radar beam in a range bin. The heights have been exaggerated 10 times and reflectivity values less than 25 dBZ excluded.
