Of the persons arrested in the Nation's suburban areas during 2005, 76.3 percent were white.
White individuals made up 73.2 percent of all people arrested for property crime and 67.5 percent of all those arrested for violent crime.
Among juveniles (persons under the age of 18) arrested, 74.1 percent were white, as were 56.9 percent of the juveniles arrested for violent crime and 70.6 percent of the juveniles arrested for property crime.
