The GFO Atmospheric Range Correction Baseline Algorithm document, which isreferenced in Appendix B of the GFO Performance Specification is herebyposted.



The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) in support of theProgram Executive Office-Command, Control, Communications, Computers,Intelligence and Space (PEO-C4I & Space), Navy Battlespace Awareness andInformation Operations Program Office (PMW-120) intends to conduct anunrestricted competitive procurement for a Navy Altimetry Satellite. ThisAltimetry Satellite replaces the Navy's Geosat Follow-on (GFO) Satellitelaunched in 1998. The program for the new Altimetry Satellite is called GFO-2.

The Government intends to award a Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF)/Cost PlusFixed Fee (CPFF) contract. A Request for Proposal (RFP) is anticipated to beissued in December 2008. The anticipated award date is September 2009.FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, will be utilized.
