Community Pits & Common Use Areas for Landscape Rock, Gravel and other Mineral Materials

Location Map

The Challis Field Office has a large variety of mineral materials available to the public including sand, gravel, rock, clay and landscaping stone. Thirteen mineral material sites in the Challis Field Office sell approximately 50,000 cubic yards annually. Please contact the Challis Field Office to obtain permits and access directions for these mineral material sites.
