Ambassador Beyrle swore in forty Peace Corps Volunteers on June 29, 2007 in a ceremony at the Sofia office of the Peace Corps.  The new volunteers will teach English at primary and secondary schools around Bulgaria. (Full Size)  

 Members of the 21st group of Peace Corps Volunteers (PCVs) to serve in Bulgaria posed with Ambassador Beyrle at their swearing-in ceremony.  Prior to the ceremony, these PCVs trained for eleven weeks around the city of Dupnitsa to familiarize themselves with Bulgarian language and culture.
