NCIPC Translation Research Guidance:
The Extramural Research Program Office (ERPO) has compiled a list of ten articles that may be helpful to those pursuing background information on translation research. The references below include relevant literature related to methodology, measurement, implementation and theory, and provide a framework for addressing translation, dissemination and adoption. Only the first four articles listed below are related specifically to injury prevention topics. While most of the work on translation research addresses health promotion, disease prevention, cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, and nutrition, these examples are easily transferable to the injury arena.
