This is a combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation is attached. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number FA4608-09-Q-0036, in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13, and is in accordance with provisions and clauses effective in Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2001-26 effective 19 Jan 2005). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 442110, and the business size is $7 Million. This is a brand name only requirement. No other brand name other than the one specified shall be considered. The proposed acquisition is set-aside for small businesses. Small businesses, woman-owned, and disabled veteran-owned businesses are encouraged to participate by submitting quotes.

Delivery requirements: FOB Destination quotations are the only quotes that will be accepted. FOB origin offers will not be considered. Deliver date is NO LATER THAN 20 March 2009.

THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ACCEPT PROPOSALS FOR ANY OTHER BRAND NAME ITEM, AND IT WILL NOT ACCEPT INCOMPLETE PROPOSALS. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identified in the offer.
