To all:
CSS is planning to upgrade the fortran compiler on fdei01 to version
4.1. This compiler actually fixes some bugs users have encountered.
It will be installed as the default version but the older compilers
(4.0, patched 4.0 and 3.7) will stay around but will need to be called
explicitly. We are notifying the fixed target admins in case there are
any issues related to the fixed target run that we are unaware of.
IF you have questions or concerns please contact uss-help@fnal.gov.
We can even provide a system to test code on if needed. If we do not
hear from anyone in a week - we will go ahead with the upgrade on
fdei01.
