Reminder
Bell 208B Modem Support
Will End on
January 30
CIT is phasing out support for RJE terminals and dialup VTAM services that use the older, obsolete Bell 208B modems to access OS/390 North and South system facilities (as announced in the March 15, 2000, issue of Interface).

As of January 30, 2001, Bell 208B modems will no longer be supported and will no longer work. If you are still using one of these old modems, you should replace it now with a Hayes-compatible V.32 modem.

If you have any problems or questions, please call TASC.
