The RFA to which this Notice refers to was developed as part of the NIH-wide Genes, Environment, and Health Initiative.   All NIH Institutes and Centers participate in NIH-wide initiatives. This RFA will be administered by NHGRI (http://www.genome.gov) on behalf of the NIH (http://www.nih.gov).

The purpose of this Notice is to inform potential responders to RFA-HG-07-012 that any qualified applicant is eligible to respond to this RFA.  Applicants who responded to the initial RFA with the same research objectives (RFA-HG-06-033) are eligible to apply to RFA-HG-07-012.  Applicants may submit a “resubmission” application, but such application must include an “Introduction” addressing the previous peer review critique (Summary Statement).
