find that a great part of the information I have acquired was by looking
up something and finding something else on the way."

With
more than 30,000 titles in its collection, the Federal Highway Administration's
(FHWA) Office of Research, Development, and Technology in McLean,
VA, is transforming its Technical Reference Center (TRC) into a full-service,
knowledge hub with online access to public libraries across the globe.
The TRC contains a collection of highway transportation and technology
materials, furthering FHWA's commitment to preserve information and
promote useful, targeted transportation products. This collection
of resources enables researchers to share research knowledge, experience,
lessons learned, and success stories.
Visit
the Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center's (TFHRC) Web site library
