Comments:

My family strongly protests telemarketers' attempts to subvert the spirit and intent of the regulations prohibiting telemarketing. A pre-recorded message delivered to our answering machine without our permission is just as intrusive and disruptive as a direct phone call. The FTC is reminded that millions of citizens signed on to the "Do Not Call" registry in a very short time to avoid being harrassed by hucksters. Their message to regulators was clear. Let's not let these obnoxious "camels" get their noses under the regulatory tent by creating loopholes in regulations that are working wellfor millions of citizens.
