 AS-EASY-AS is distributed as evaluation software which means that you
 can make copies for evaluation purposes but that if you use the software
 we expect you to register. (You can use the ORDER.ME file on this disk)
 Registered members receive the latest version of the program, a Printed
 bound manual, Help Screens,  Demonstration  worksheet  files, Technical
 support and Update Notices.
 Registration costs $40.00 (U.S.).  For first class mail or UPS add $5.00.

                         GETTING STARTED

 The information provided below is to help you start the program for
 your hardware configuration.  For more details about the operation of
 the program press the F1 (function) key once you have started the
 program.  This will invoke the help screens that provide information
 about the functions, commands, features, etc.

   Command Line Switches - to select options when starting ASEASY from
   the DOS prompt.

    A>  ASEASY /Option1/Option2/Option3/.....     [ENTER]

    The following switch has been removed from version 3.01 revision H
    and will no longer have any effect.

     Q - Quick Screen Option (NOT REQUIRED .. this is the DEFAULT mode)
                 ------------------------------------

    The following Options ARE available in Version 3.01;


     NS- NO SNOW (this results in slower screen updates but no static)
     E - Enhanced Graphics Display, 640x350  (AUTODETECTED where possible)
     H - Hercules Graphics Display, 720x348 at page $b800 (AUTODETECTED)
     H2- Force Hercules Graphics to second page at $b000.
     O - Overlay file on disk. Uses overlay mode to save memory.
   ATT - Enable AT&T Graphics Display, 640x400


   AUTO= - Direct ASEASYAS to autoload designated filename

             

    DIR=C:\ASEASY  - Set the Directory PATH used when accessing data.
         SET=$MGFB - Set Colors (in hexadecimal) WHERE:

                          M = Menu Color
                          G = Graph Color (applicable on color monitors)
                          F = Foreground Color
                          B = Background Color

       Examples:

              A> ASEASY /O/E  [ENTER]
                 Starts AS-EASY-AS for an EGA monitor with the overlay
                 file on disk (rather than in memory).

              A> ASEASY /H2/DIR=C:\Data [ENTER]
                 Starts AS-EASY-AS for a Hercules type monitor/card
                 combination, using the second page for graphics, and
                 instructs the program that the data files will be
                 located on drive C, in subdirectory "Data".

              A> ASEASY /AUTO=Newexec.wks [ENTER]
                 Start AS-EASY-AS and immediately load the file called
                 Newexec.wks.
