Flight Summary
Take-off was at 1515 UTC. ER-2 landed at 2205 UTC. ER-2 flew from Kelly AFB to western Gulf of Mexico racetrack where two orbits were flown in mostly clear sky conditions. Some thinning alto cu (25% coverage) present along first southbound line and persistent cumulus at southern end of the racetrack. Also present on 1st northbound leg. Skies clear on 2nd southbound and 2nd northbound legs. Met Terra on 2nd run of northbound leg. Then flew to coastal Louisiana where four USGS photo legs were run. Some thin cloud in western Louisiana on these legs.

Data Evalutation
Clear sky scenes over blue water with Terra directly overhead. The minco scanhead heater is still either inoperative or unable to provide sufficient heat to counter ambient air temps of about -65 to -70 C. Port 3 channels performance consistent with the last two flights.
