Thanks, that's the problem - I didn't have the pmel_noaa.jar file. The
instructions from link
"Installation procedures for UNIX without using installer."
on the ncbrowse homepage neglect to mention this file; I also had to make the
obvious adjustment to the java -cp line in the suggest shell script.
On the off chance you're still interested:
- java version 1.3.0
- whatever version of ncBrowse was on the ftp page on the morning of Monday,
April 9 2001 (Australian Eastern Standard Time)
I did have some trouble downloading the files - Netscape told me the jar
files were corrupted, but I got them down with Konqueror and now everything
appears to be fine.
