I believe the credit score should be free along with the credit report. The three credit bureaus have continually made mistakes and impacted consumers economic lives by reporting false and misleading information without any recourse by the damaged party, the consumer. The bureaus should also have to send out free information with the credit reports pertaining to repairing mistakes on a credit report, how to read a report and score, and what impacts the report and score. The American public has too long allowed this invasion of their economic privacy and has allowed the congress and credit bureaus to set the rules in this game of credit reporting and credit scoring. The job of the FTC is to protect the citizens, isn't it? Well, do your job.
