 The Commissioner's Awards Ceremony 2001
(11/30/2001)Today, at U.S. Customs Headquarters in Washington D.C., we will hold the annual Commissioner's Awards Ceremony. It is a great honor for me to host this special event, which spotlights the achievements of Customs employees from across the nation and around the world.Every Customs employee at Headquarters and in the surrounding area is invited to attend the ceremony, which begins at 11 a.m. in the Ronald Reagan Building Amphitheater.For those of you at Customs locations across the country, the Awards Ceremony will also be broadcast by satellite on Telstar 6, transponder 22. The program will begin at 10:20 am EST. Managers should contact their downlink coordinator to obtain the broadcast.In addition, an abbreviated version of the awards ceremony will be made available on CD-ROM for anyone who is not able to watch it live.Please join me in congratulating all our winners of this year's Commissioner's awards. |
