I don't mind getting e-mails from companies I have done business with, or signed up for info. I do resent the tremendous amount of spam from companies I have never even heard of. Many of which have bogus addresses, and trying to opt-out attracts even more spam. Some even supply spyware and adware for further harrassment by them. Most legitimate companies are reasonable, and will honor opt-out requests. I have no problems with them. Please put most of your efforts into shuting down the sneaky underhanded pests that are making e-mail users lives miserable. Thank you.
