I would like you to not consider recorded message solicitation as acceptable in any case but for people who want to specifically and clearly opt-in for such solicitation. Any other option is just an obvious opportunity for telephone spam, which consumers have been trying to eliminate for years. It violates the intention of the no-not-call list, and would allow companies to be able to call unsuspecting homes at an even greater rate for less cost than the person to person calls that consumers almost universally rejected in the past. Please do not consider making a loophole to the do-not-call legislation.
