Toxicity Metadata

This database of chemical-specific toxicity metadata contains values needed in human health toxicity assessments. Information from the tables presented below can be used to help complete EPA RAGs Part D tables and supplement toxicity assessments. This database contains information taken from IRIS/HEAST/NCEA, and these sources are referenced.

All users should note that the chemical-specific toxicity metadata contained in this database were developed for use in risk evaluations and assessments utilizing methods presented in Risk Assessment Guidance for Superfund: Volume 1 - Human Health Evaluation Manual (RAGS). Individuals intending to use these values with methods not consistent with RAGS should consult with risk assessment professionals, including those at their regulatory agencies and at the Center for Risk Excellence.

Check Desired Parameters

To use this database, choose

  • (1) the chemical-specific toxicity metadata,
  • (2) the analytes by either name or Chemical Abstract Service Registry (CAS) number, and
  • (3) an output option.
Note: This database only contains metadata for chronic toxicity values.
