I object strongly that the FTC is even considering pre-recorded messages to be permitted for telephone calls even if the list contains names on a company's list. Such harassment of telephone subscribers must not be allowed. Why does the FTC thinks that the no-call programs are so popular and contains millions of names? The FTC is too far removed from interests of millions of telephone subscribers and this proposal reinforces the unethical relationships that FTC has with telemarketers and similar interests that want access to telephone subscribers ... with no agreement with the telemarketers. The FTC should do more to get the inputs from millions of telephone subscribers.
