We launch a balloon twice each day to monitor wind, temperature, and moisture above the surface.    Preparing the balloon and instrument package (radiosonde) for launch...

 

The Radiosonde is attached by a string to the weather balloon.    Up Up and away.... the radiosonde transmits back valuable weather information...
