2007-05-29 - LP DAAC Announces New V005 Name for MODIS BRDF/Albedo Products Unlike MODIS V004 MOD43, the V005 BRDF, Albedo, and NBAR products are known as MCD43. Both Terra and Aqua data are used in the generation of the new V005 products, providing the highest probability for quality input data and designating them as "MCD," meaning "Combined," products.
