Abstract	THE S.G.M.E. PLANT EFFECTIVELY MIXED SMALL QUANTITIES OF CEMENT WITH THE GRAVEL IN A MIXING TIME OF 1-1/2. MINUTES. THERE WAS SOME EVIDENCE THAT FAIRLY LONG DELAYS BETWEEN MIXING AND COMPACTION WOULD NOT EFFECT THE COMPACTION CHARACTERISTICS OR THE STRENGTH OF THE STABILIZED MATERIAL.
