Abstract:

A State-by-State listing of cases in both State and Federal courts is provided. Each case entry provides either a court docket number or a bibliographic citation. A summary description of the proceedings and the holding also is provided. Cases involve both adult and juvenile plaintiffs. Included among the issues addressed by these cases are overcrowding, personal safety, classification, due process, privacy, staffing, recreation, search and seizure, and inmate medical and other services. |
