I would like to comment that I am against any adjustment of the rules that would allow any person or company (for any reason) to increase the number of telemarketing phone calls that I receive. Thus I am against these rule changes. In fact, I would like to see the rules amended so that even fewer calls can be made by fewer companies. For example, make all telemarketing entities use the do not call database - with no exceptions. Side comment: telemarketing calls are a pain, but what about junk mail and the impact it has on our environment. Perhaps you could consider a similar rule for all junk mailers? Thank you, M. Z.
