BACKGROUND: Experience of young marriage (below 20 years) among village woman still happened especially in villages of Indonesia. The impact of these marriage are the social, economical and Health problem. METHODS: Data from Cikuray village in West Java were obtained by using targeted sampling method. We have completed qualitative interview with 166 young married woman. The characteritics data are age, occupation, education, family income, marriage motivation and early age child bearing, frequency of marriage. RESULTS: Problem of early age marriage are divorce, because of social economical problem they must work in big cities sometimes they are involved in prostitution. (High risk of STD and HIV-AIDS) high rate of maternal mortality rate. CONCLUSION: Information and education of reproductive system and sex education must be given as soon as possible in the early age (10-15 years) in schools and community so that parents and teenagers are aware of the risk of early age marriage.
