As far as I can see, the law hasn't done a thing to decrease the amount of SPAM in my inbox. The opt-out requirement is great, except there is no way I'm going to use it unless I can be sure the 'opt-out' click is 'real'. Currently, the opt-out is just as likely to confirm my e-mail address to spam listers as do anything useful. Too many spammers are operating outside the reach of the US for the current law to be effective.
