Package Honey Bees and Queen Producers
Shipping addresses and costs of bees can be obtained from various
honey bee magazines,
county extension office, or from neighboring beekeepers. Packages
should be ordered
during November or December before the next spring. Packages are
rarely shipped after June
each year.
The Extension Service, USDA
Many states have apicultural extension specialists who are
responsible for a honey bee
program in a particular state. Also, some states may have
specific information on beekeeping
within their extension system. Check with your local county
office for assistance.
