US Ambassador James Pardew and Sofia City Officials to Discuss the Preservation of City’s Parks and Green Areas

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), in cooperation with the Foundation for Local Government Reform, is organizing a roundtable discussion, “Preservation of Sofia’s Parks and Green Areas”.

The event is being organized under the auspices of the Ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of Bulgaria James W. Pardew, and will take place on Tuesday, October 5th, 10:00am – 5:00pm at the Akademia Hall, 23 Mizia Street.

The discussion will focus on the status, development and the future of Sofia’s parks and green areas. City officials, civil society organizations, professional associations and other institutions will discuss and plan the necessary legislative, administrative and managerial measures which will ensure that the city’s parks and green zones are preserved and responsibly developed in the coming years.
