Charge people for their credit scores? Absolutely NOT! It should be FREE! People don't authorize its calculation and they don't authorize its release to creditors. Information about individuals is provided BY creditors TO credit reporting agencies to provide a database of credit history used to calculate the credit score. And they do this WITHOUT the consent of the individual! These databases are maintained for the benefit of creditors, NOT the individuals. Businesses should have to pay to get it, individuals should have it made available to them for FREE!
