The Bureau of Reclamation, Flaming Gorge Field Division, is soliciting for quotes for janitorial services for the Flaming Gorge Visitor Center. The Flaming Gorge Field Division is located 44 miles NE of Vernal, UT on Hwy 191 this is a very isolated area with a small population. The Flaming Gorge Visitor Center is approximately 2500 square feet consisting of two public bathrooms, break room, storage room, theater room, main visitor center that has area and powerplant displays, and the surrounding sidewalk area. The janitorial service are seven days a week Spring, Summer, and Fall four days a week in the Winter Season. The solicitation will be issued January 12, 2009. Estimated award date January 31, 2009. The contract is for a base year and one option. Simplfied acquistion and commercial procedures will be used for this procurement. This is a small business set-aside NAICS Code 561720 Janitorial Services with a size standard of $15 million.
