Subject: antibiotics and agriculture

Dear FDA Commissioner Jane,

I'll be brief.  You are aware of the staggering and astronomical abuse of 
anitbiotics by the agriculture industry.  I urge you to collect and report 
data on the quantity of
antibiotics used in U.S. agriculture, and take steps to halt this terrible 
trend.  In the meantime, pray it is not your child who becomes ill with a 
disease that can no longer be treated with antibiotics.  Sounds melodramatic? 
 I assure you it is not.
