Puchalla passed away in November of 2008. He loved space exploration and was a dedicated Solar System Ambassador. This page will remain here through the end of the year to honor his memory and contribution to the program.

Photo of AmbassadorChris is the Education Program Manager for G.WIZ-The Hands-On Science Museum in Sarasota. Before moving to Florida, he worked for Borg-Warner Automotive, Inc., an automotive component supplier in the Chicago area. Born and raised in the Chicago area his favorite outing as a child was to the Museum of Science and Industry and Adler Planetarium. He started his career as a draftsman and worked his way up to Development Engineer having been named as inventor on several patents along the way. In his current position he develops and presents science workshops and presentations for students, teachers, parents and museum visitors. Chris has always been interested in the space program from building models of rockets as a child to launching his own as an adult. One of his hobbies is amateur astronomy.
