KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLA. A technician at Cape Canaveral Air Force Stations Radiographic High-Energy X-ray Facility looks at an X-ray of one of the four rudder speed brake actuators to be installed on the orbiter Discovery. The actuators are being X- rayed to determine if the gears were installed correctly. Discovery has been assigned to the first Return to Flight mission, STS-114, a logistics flight to the International Space Station.
