Description: Convair JF-102A (54-1374) on the ramp at NACA High-Speed Flight Station, Edwards, California in 1956. The most prominent new feature distinguishing the JF-102A from the YF-102 was a longer fuselage with a pinched or 'coke-bottle' waist. Note wing-fences on both wings. The JF-102A Characteristics are:
