Commander CLARENCE A. BURMISTER, K-100019, U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey, is hereby authorized to wear the Army Commendation Ribbon by direction of the Secretary of War

For outstanding and meritorious service from 8 August 1942 to 4 December 1943. During this period Commander Burmister served on the staff of the Commanding General, Engineer Amphibian Command, Camp Edwards, Mass. as technical navigation adviser.
