The archives collects and preserves historical material relating to all of these colleges. The History Center also collects material on the history of southern medical education, particularly Florida, and the history of education in the health professions in general.

There is a developing special collection of manuscripts and printed material relating to the history of health professions education in the south, particularly Florida.
