A workshop on methods for estimating ground-water recharge was held in Building 810 of the Denver Federal Center in Lakewood, CO on February 26 to 28, 2002. The workshop consisted of a series of lectures and case studies. The goals of the workshop were to provide a survey of different methods that have been applied to the estimation of ground-water recharge, to review the theory on which the methods are based, to present in-depth examples of application of the methods, and to discuss advantages and limitations of all of the approachs.
