As has been currently legislated with respect to actual credit reports, since credit scores are personal information with the potential to be abused or misrepresented by current or potential creditors without written verification, I feel that consumers should be protected by having free access to their credit scores annually and also if it has been adversely used against them in denying them applied for credit, or penalizing them for a "less than perfect" credit score. Creditors, since they are using them as a tool in analyzing risks and costs, should then be required to pay for them if it is their policy to utilize bottom line credit reporting scores prior to extending credit.
