I too teach immigrants and we have no waiting lists at our school at the present time. We NEVER send students away. We would put them on a waiting list if that were to occur but it hasen't/ And yes I also complain about funding cuts as we are short of materials! What facts are you taking aboutthat I have not presented ? Calling Miami to find out that they answer in Spanish in the gvt offices is not a fact?? HAve you tried it? Trust me it IS a fact. And if they do answer in English it is so poor most of the time as to be difficult to understand. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Antje Meissner" <antjemeissner@yahoo.com> To: "Multiple recipients of list" <nifl-esl@literacy.nifl.gov> Sent: Friday, August 29, 2003 10:37 AM Subject: [NIFL-ESL:9309] Re: Accept English Only donation? > Hello, > I am from Florida too.
