THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR SUBPART 12.6 AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number TIRNO-05-Q-CTG02. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 5-05. The North American Industry Classified System is 334220. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS), has a requirement to upgrade existing television studio recording equipment in the audio booth and master control rooms from analog equipment to digital equipment at the New Carrolton Federal Building (NCFB) in Lanham, MD. Technical factors are the primary basis for award of this requirement; however cost/price becomes the more important determinative selection factor. Equipment must be brand name or compatible to the equipment listed in this synopsis/solicitation. The government shall select the offeror who provides the best value to the Government. The Equipment is as follows: (1) ClearCom RS-501 Single Channel Belt Pack in quantity of four (4) each. (2) ClearCom cc-26 Single Ear Headset in quantity of twenty six (26) each. (3) Viewsonic VP-191B 19” LCD Status Monitor in the quantity of five (5) each. (4) Sony PVM-14L5/1 14” Color Professional Monitor (PVW and PGM Monitoring at TD location in quantity of four (4) each. (5) Tascam CDRW402 Professional CD Player/recorder in a quantity of two (2) each. (6) Tascam CDA700 Professional Cassette Recorder in quantity of two (2) each. (7)Tascam MD350 Professional Mini Disc Player/Recorder in quantity of two (2) each. (8) Clearcom I-121OE intercom Panel w/2 Display Modules & Keyboard in the quantity of two (2) each. (9) ClearCom Eclipse 32 32 Port Intercom Matrix in the quantity of one (1) each. (10) ClearCom CCI-22 Party Line Interface in the quantity of two (2) each. (11) ClearCom IFB-104 4 Port IFB I/O Breakout Panel in quantity of one (1) each. (12) ClearCom FOR-22 4 Wire 2Way Interface in quantity of three each.
