All information on amount of data available for product generation refers to RAW RADAR DATA

1C51 products, and therefore all downstream level 2 and level 3 reference products, contain ONLY 30-40% of all available raw radar data.

Example: assuming 75% of raw radar data is available for one particular site month, then 75% of the subsetted data set comprising 1C51 and rainmap products will be available.

UPDATE - 09/13/2000: % available radar data statistics for Melbourne, Houston, Kwajalein, and Darwin have been modified to account for only gaps greater than or equal to 75 minutes. Gaps smaller than 75 minutes are accounted for by the integration procedure of the GV rainfall accumulation algorithm and therefore do not need to be considered "missing" data.
