The U.S. Border Patrol at Del Rio, Texas was established on July 1, 1924, when the agency had two Border Patrolmen. These officers had been employed as mounted inspectors and were transferred into the newly organized U.S. Border Patrol.

Service Area: Since 1924, the Sector has grown to include more than 1200 employees with more than 1000 Border Patrol Agents assigned to cover 41 counties of Texas.

Sector Headquarters Location: 2401 Dodson Avenue, Del Rio, Texas

Stations: Stations of the Del Rio Sector are located in Abilene, Brackettville, Carrizo Springs, Comstock, Del Rio, Eagle Pass, Rocksprings, San Angelo, and Uvalde.
