An informal meeting will be held at 8 pm, on Monday, May 24th in the Hubert Humphrey Ballroom, to discuss progress in establishing national initiatives for the detailed analysis of the wheat genome. The meeting will be chaired by Rudi Appels and Bikram Gill to allow the exchanging of ideas and working toward a formal IGROW session in the annual ITMI meeting in San Diego.

Oral Presentation Guidelines:

Invited speakers are asked to present their presentations as Microsoft Powerpoint presentations.  The workshop will arrange to have both a PC and Mac computers available for the presentations, and no other presentation formats will be supported.  Speakers are asked to bring their presentations on CDs.

 

 

Posters:

There will be a poster session during the meeting.  Posters are encouraged; however registered workshop participants will be limited to presenting one poster at the meeting.  Please Note:  maximum poster dimensions are 4 feet x 4 feet.

 

 

Workshop Abstracts:

Abstracts are requested for all invited talks and poster presentations. All abstracts will be compiled into a booklet that will be distributed at the workshop. The deadline for abstract submission is April 25, 2004. Submit abstracts by email to Jim Anderson (ander319@umn.edu) in either a MS Word or RTF format. Please adhere to the following formatting guidelines when preparing abstracts:

 

Use US letter (8.5 x 11 inch) paper, single-spaced, single column, with 1 inch (2.54 cm) margins (top/bottom and sides). Using Times New Roman 12 point font, with abstract text left and right justified. The entire abstract and accompanying information must fit on one side of one page. Each submission should include:

 

1. Title (all capital letters and centered)

2. Authors (centered)

3. Organizational affiliation of authors, plus telephone and email address of corresponding author (centered)

4. Abstract

Directions:
